Core rule
Never weaken, skip, delete or edit a test, a checker config or a package.json script to get green.
Execution Phases
Phase 01See what will run
gstack-checks detect reads files only and lists each check and test selection; if the repo declares none, say so and stop without inventing commands.
Phase 02Confirm trust
When repo commands are untrusted, show them and ask before trusting in an interactive session.
Phase 03Run, fix, run
Fix code on FAIL, add tests on UNMAPPED, report ENV or TIMEOUT without working around it; stop after 5 runs or a repeated failure.
Phase 04Hand off
gstack-checks status reruns nothing; only READY_FOR_SHIP counts as green.
Permissions (summarised from SKILL.md)
| Capability | Needed | Details |
|---|---|---|
| File writes | Required | Edits code under test and adds tests; never bumps a version, edits CHANGELOG, pushes or opens a PR. |
| Command execution | Limited | Runs the repo's declared checks through gstack-checks; untrusted commands need user consent or an explicit flag. |
| Network outbound | Not required | The skill does not call for network access. |
