## Core rule

Review early and often, and never skip review because a change seems simple.

## Execution Phases

1. **Get the git SHAs** — Use git rev-parse or git merge-base to find the base and head commits of the range to review.
2. **Fill the reviewer template** — Fill the code-reviewer.md template with a summary of what was built, the plan or requirements, and the two SHAs.
3. **Dispatch the reviewer** — Dispatch a general-purpose subagent with only the crafted context, never the session history; the review is read-only on the checkout.
4. **Act on feedback** — Fix Critical issues immediately and Important ones before proceeding, note Minor ones, and push back with technical reasoning if the reviewer is wrong.

## Permissions (summarised from SKILL.md)

| Capability | Needed | Details |
|---|---|---|
| File writes | Required | Fixes issues raised in review; the reviewer subagent itself is read-only on the checkout. |
| Command execution | Limited | Runs git commands such as git rev-parse, git diff and git log to find and inspect the commit range. |
| Network outbound | Not required | The workflow has no network steps. |
