- A rule scan cannot catch every risk. Read this skill's SKILL.md and check its permissions before installing.
- ⚠ If the user accepts proactive mode, it adds a line to the agent's global rules file such as ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md.

## Core rule

A non-zero finalize exit is never success; repair the failed gate and rerun the complete command.

## Execution Phases

1. **Choose the artifact** — Pick one of ten native diagram types or an explainer page from the question, using the guide command when ambiguous.
2. **Read schema and evidence** — Read the matching schema, example and authoring defaults; for a real codebase, trace source files as evidence.
3. **Write the candidate** — Write a complete candidate.json or explainer draft into its own folder under .archify/.
4. **Run finalize** — One run covers validate, deliver, strict check and a real-browser check; on failure read the receipt, repair and rerun.
5. **Report briefly** — Lead with a link to the HTML and add only what changes how it should be read, without recapping commands or checks.

## Permissions (summarised from SKILL.md)

| Capability | Needed | Details |
|---|---|---|
| File writes | Limited | Writes candidates and HTML into folders under .archify/ in the working directory; with user consent it adds one line to the global agent rules file. |
| Command execution | Limited | Runs node bin/archify.mjs subcommands such as finalize, guide and doctor, including a real-browser check. |
| Network outbound | Limited | finalize runs a bounded update check, and unknown brand marks are fetched only from a user-provided URL; updates are never installed automatically. |

## SKILL.md frontmatter (YAML)

```yaml
---
name: archify
description: "Create validated architecture, workflow, sequence, data-flow, lifecycle/state, ERD, class, tree, timeline, and waterfall diagrams as explorable standalone HTML with dark/light themes, motion and image/SVG/WebM export. Accept requirements or Mermaid; inspect repository evidence for code-backed diagrams. Use when visualizing systems, API calls, pipelines, schemas, histories, timings, or everyday steps, parts, relationships and states. Also turn an answer into a one-page explainer, with the conclusion first, structured panels, native diagrams and charts, when the user asks for a page, an explainer or an answer to share (做成一页, 用页面讲), or proactively when the user's rules opt in with an [archify explainer: ...] line. Not for dashboards."
